18 Employees from Apex Hotels, MacDonald Hotels, Blythswood Square, Cameron House, the Torridon Hotel and the Old Course St Andrew’s joined the SAIH 3 year programme to develop their operational skills and experience as well as developing their communication, team working and problem solving abilities. The 18 Apprentices will complete SVQ levels 2 and 3 in all operation aspects of Hotel operations and will embark on a number of learning journeys and workshops to develop them personally. This new intake follow in the footsteps of 9 Apprentices who joined the programme in September 2014 and who have already completed their experience in Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and are currently completing their Kitchen Module, having amassed considerable experience during their year one learning journeys. The 9 year one Apprentices were invited guests to speak to the new cohort of Apprentices during their two day induction in Stirling on 5/6 October.
