The Apprenticeship of Hospitality Scotland is proud of each and every one of our apprentices and their achievements which is why we continue to engage and develop our alumni apprentices once they have completed the programme.  They become part of an exclusive network of young people, across Scotland who can share their story and expertise on what it’s like to be an AHS apprentice and help attract new talent to the programme. 

 
 

What is the Alumni Community?

As a graduate of the Apprenticeship in Hospitality Scotland (AHS) you are part of a unique network of individuals all over Scotland and beyond. The alumni network aims to bring you together on a formal basis offering you opportunities to continue networking and giving back to the new and current AHS apprentices in different ways. You know first-hand what it's like to be an AHS apprentice and to be able to share your experience and develop the future apprentices is a great opportunity and invaluable to the future of AHS.

What are the benefits of joining and becoming an AHS Champion?

  • Access to 2 self development workshops per year

  • Speak at apprenticeship events within your local area to attract new talent into hospitality

  • Social events (One per year)

  • Ability to join in fundraising events for AHS

  • Receive a bi-annual newsletter for Alumni

  • LinkedIn networking group access

  • Receive an AHS Alumni lapel pin badge

  • Apprentice Membership to the Institute of Hospitality

  • Apply to become a mentor to new and existing apprentices and attend a 2-day course to develop your skills
