The challenge was split into 4 key areas and scored accordingly

1 - Theory Test (30 points)

4 - Practical Cookery; Cuisine Traditional (25 Points), apprentices were given 1.5 hours to prepare, cook & serve 4 portions of a classical recipe provided

The challenge involved both skills and practical tests, giving our aspiring chefs the chance to showcase their talents and give them an opportunity to further develop their culinary skills.

This was all whilst having the opportunity to meet and work under the guidance of some of Scotland’s top chefs and suppliers!

Some of the fantastic dishes made by our apprentices.

It was a fantastic event had by all, held at Braehead Foods Cook School, Kilmarnock.
