Apprentice at Trump Turnberry, Leigh-Ann has recently embarked on her management qualification in Housekeeping.

What made you choose an apprenticeship and in particular the Apprenticeship in Hospitality Scotland?
I thought it was a good opportunity to progress my career and this was the best apprenticeship in that field

Where are you now? / What position do you hold:
I am a Housekeeping Supervisor

How did the apprenticeship help you get here?
It helped me realise that I enjoyed working in housekeeping out of all the department and also the skills I learned going through all the departments helped me get the job I am in today

What would you say to those thinking of applying this year?
If you are wanting to have a career in the hospitality sector then this apprenticeship is the best by far you have so many opportunities to meet new people from different hotel make new friends and you get wonderful opportunities as well

I love Horse riding ( when I get time todo it again)
