Congratulations Chelsea Murray on receiving this year's Apprentice of the Year Award!!

Since having completed her apprenticeship, Chelsea had the option to return to all 4 departments after receiving very positive feedback from Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen & Reception.

Having been given such opportunities, Chelsea decided to continue on her journey within Reception and joined the FOH team. Chelsea has been described as a ‘ a ray of sunshine in our lobby’, who has ‘an infectiously positive attitude’.

Chelsea has also been described as ‘caring and attentive with all of our guests, giving them her undivided attention and making each guest feel special – creating true Kimpton Moments’. As a result, Chelsea has had numerous named mentions across review sites from guests.

Chelsea is often complimented by customers on her delivery of excellent service and receives regular positive feedback. As quoted by Chelsea’s F&B Manager; ‘ Chelsea has been known to actively motivate her team around her and work collaboratively with others to provide the best possible service. She builds trust through regular, open, and honest communication and demonstrates level headedness in any challenging situation. She consistently displays a strong work ethos and has tremendous drive. Chelsea is well liked by her colleagues, and customers alike, displaying a very committed attitude to her job’.

More recently, Chelsea, along with the rest of the FOH team at Kimpton Blythswood hotel have recently been nominated for a CATEY award and we wish Chelsea and the team the best of luck at the awards!'.
